printer

i have a laser printer canon mf3110 and my power mac doesnt have the driver. is there a way to connect my printer please help!😕

Check the canon website to see if there are any mac drivers, normally its there.

Try using the 'GIMP-print' drivers for a Canon BJC-210, that MIGHT work.

If not, then you're pretty much out of luck.

i have never DL anything from this site myself... so try at your own risk...

i think you have to register to DL drivers from the site...

like i said, i have never used the site... probably bogus anyway... did a more extensive search and could not come up with any osx drivers for that printer... looks like it really is windows only...

im surprised the printer is not recognized when plugged into the computer...

"No-more searching around for drivers"-yeah right! Seriously, if its not recognised on plug-in or a Google has no drivers, you're out of luck.

if it is rocognized then i am surprised that it is not working...

did you set up the printer through the printer utility under sys preferences?

If you can skip the multifunction driver and try some of the other drivers, you may have a shot.

But I do not know what canon printer driver is closest.
