I have an HP Photosmart that for some reason is printing the top of page two at the bottom of page one. In other words, It's not separating the pages properly. What ever tells the printer to set a page break isn't working.

Or it will print a couple inch gap on the the top of the page, then print the bottom of the page as page 2.

I've removed and reinstalled the printer and it's still not working.

It does this on safari, photoshop, and open office (all applications).

Any help is appreciated!

On some printers (like my iMac's printer), one has create a test page, then SCAN the same page - to align its page edges and its print heads. Does your printer need this alignment task as well? If so, suggest performing this task.

As a trial, test same print job using printer configs in Photo Quality, draft quality, etc. etc.

Hopefully this helps as well....
