Printing problem with Excel 2008 / Office 2004

    Hi All,

    When running Excel ( from Office 2008 ), it runs fine all the time....EXCEPT...
    when I want to print a spreadsheet it crashes the application. The document still prints, but the application crashes.

    If it makes any difference, the printer is an Epson 1290, and I run an MacbookPro running latest Leopard.

    Any ideas?

    UPDATE: It crashes even if the printer is not connected to the computer.

    Are you up-to-date with your Office updates? As of this writing (9:17am on 20 July 2009), we're at 12.1.9. SP2 (12.2.0) will hit the download servers in about 45 minutes. Download that and see if you're still having the problem.

    If you are, tell me more about the crash. Do you get any kind of error message?

    do you have application crash report? or kernel panic report?

    Seems OK now - just re-installed it:D Printing working now.
