Printing thru W2k printer...

OMG...I'm losing my mind trying to set-up my printer on my Macbook to print on a HP LaserJet 3200. The printer is attached to my desktop pc, running Windows 2000, connected via serial connection.

I have tried a few different ways to get it to work, but most come back with a, "SAMBA unable to connect" error in one fashion or another.😕

Any ideas, thought or references?

I've had this exact same problem trying to print from my MBP to a Win2k3 server across the network. I've got a bit farther than you (the jobs got spooled as "Generic Printer" on the Win2k3 machine, but never actually printed). I've scoured the Internet for a solution to this, but I haven't found one. I'd love to hear if anyone else has a suggestion or two.
