Printing to my HP Officejet Pro 8600

My HP Officejet Pro 8600 stopped printing. All the job stay in the print queue. I'm running OSX 7.5 in an iMac 2.16 GHz Intel Core Duo. When I bring up the printer on a web page I can sent a test page that prints, but cannot print from any other applications. I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers. Still no luck. I can access the scanner and the computer sees that the printer is there. Any ideas please???
