Is it possible to actually print white on an inkjet?
No. It is not possible for the water based inks, like those in an ink jet to print white. Only Laytex and Oil paints can do that, so you could only do it on a 5 color printing press.
Put simply, no. Any white you see is the paper showing through.
Thanks for the super quick replies!
Yeah, I figured so, but was hoping that ...
some innovative person put something like liquid white out in a print cartridge or something like that to print white.
There was a printer released (kodak iirc) that actually had a 'white' tank of ink for use with photo print outs. It wasn't an ink that you could use to make white text on black paper, it was used more as a highlighter/lighter shade type aspect.
But generally speaking its a no as said.
