iPhone Privacy permissions resetting

Occasionally apps are requesting access to certain features (camera, contacts, photos, microphone) even though I already approved them previously. Sometimes it happens if I haven't used a particular app for a while. When I open that up, it will prompt me to give it permission to photos, etc. Is this normal?

I've recently noticed that with a couple of apps (although ones that I use fairly often). Can't say I really recall it happening before, or at most happening only rarely.

never seen that behavior .... Were those app updated ? Maybe an app update messed up the permissions
