Or something like that...

What I mean is : I downloaded the Aperture 3 trial today and noticed that, unlike all other apps, the three window buttons top left are all grey, instead of the usual red, yellow and green.
Now, I understand that is how all Apple's pro apps look, but I'm not to keen on that. Is there any way to change that ?

do the buttons even do anything?

when they are grey doesnt that mean that particular window cannot be minimized, maximized or closed?

They work, they're just all grey instead of the usual red-yellow-green. All Apple's pro apps make this happen, you can do this sytem wide for all apps in your os x preferences if you want. What you cannot do apparently, is make pro apps look like all other apps...

they are the graphite versions of the buttons. In fact, everything about the pro apps (especially Aperture) is graphite.

I believe it is meant to take away from the distractions and let the user focus on the colors of the project better. There is no way that I know of to change it... sorry :(.
