The pro is a great device and apple claim can replace the laptop or desktop.

Then to do this I personally think we need a dock like samsung note 8 dock.

It needs HDMI out, one usb port for keyboard or connecting camera to download photos and obviously charger port.

If was not stupid expensive I'd buy one these docks from apple or 3rd party.

What is your take on a dock idea?

I'm sure it would end up extremely expensive, but I like the idea. I use the Logi Base for my 12.9 Pro and it's great, but having ports on the back could really improve it.

Is yours working in iOS 11? Mine hasn’t worked in a while to charge. I’ve noticed reviews on apple for the logi base saying the same thing. Maybe there’s a way to update the base?

I haven’t had any issues with mine on iOS 11. When I got it in mid-September, I got a notification on my iPad saying that there was a firmware update available.
