I use the Thunderbolt cable that came with the pro display xdr to connect to the IO port Thunderbolt 4 of the Gigabyte Z590 motherboard, it can display 6K, the forced installation of bootcamp shows that it is not connected to the external display and cannot use the brightness and preset mode, what should I do。

I am using the 11700k's built-in nuclear display output. Now I don't know if there is a problem with the line or if the graphics card is not used.

I got mine to connect with an Asus ProArt-z790-Creator motherboard with Thunderbolt 3 passthrough. Works like a charm in Linux, I'm limited to 5k but that might be more my Linux Distro (Ubuntu) than anything else, it's running on a 4080 GPU.

Oh and it slaps for gaming.

I set the brightness on my MacBook Pro, then plug it into my Linux box which keeps that setting. I don't know what resets the brightness but I think it has to be a new machine it's plugged into. I don't even bother with drivers or bootcamp or anything.

I personally couldn't get 6K via TB4 port on my Z590 Vision D motherboard, so I went to USB-C and now it works really well - 6K, brightness control, HDR, 12bit. It uses DSC of course, but I don't see any difference in the picture quality.

If you need details, let me know.
