I'm curious how people with big phones carry them.

I own a 2016 SE which I carry in my front pocket. I have tried and don't find it comfortable to carry a 6.1" phone that way, let alone a 6.7" pro max.

In my front pocket of my skinny jeans and tight work pants/shorts. I don’t have any problems carrying my 12 Pro Max in my pockets and I’m a woman who rarely carries a purse.

Do you have to remove it from your pocket when you're sitting?

Handbag, laptop tote/backpack, pockets, hands.

All work for me. I’ve been doing this since the 6 Plus.

I don't have a Pro Max yet, ordered the 13 PM, but I have my 3yr old XS Max, I keep it in a hip pouch with my wires to charge them.

I chose purse... but I carry it in multiple places.

I have chosen purses based on IF they will hold my phone.

I have a spibelt that I use then doing yard work and shorts that don't have pockets and I want to have my EarPods in.

I put it in my front or rear pocket of my shorts/jeans....

I’m a front pocket phone carrying guy too. Went with the max for the first time this past year. It is difficult in the front pocket at times so lately I’ve begun putting it in the back pocket. I remember to take it out before sitting down about 50% of the time.

Depends on what I’m wearing, but typically my phone always goes in my back pocket when I’m standing/walking, front pocket if I’m sitting but don’t want my phone out, and in my hand or on a table when I’m in a relaxed environment and sitting.

The only time carrying the phone in my pocket has been an issue is in loose fitting basketball shorts. They tend to migrate in a downward direction…but otherwise never been an issue.

Just bought a Genuine Leather hip case with a sweet magnetic closure that works so good

I dropped my 13 Pro Max out my jacket pocket 3 times in two weeks of getting it. Thanks to my CaseKoo case that saved it. But luck doesn’t stick around to long

Always my back right pocket with nothing else. Only while walking. If I sit or get in the car it comes out. This is with no case and the MagSafe wallet attached to the back

i only wear basketball shorts or sweatpants so my phone goes in my front pockets. never been an issue for me from the 3gs to the X to the 11 Pro Max and now 13 Pro Max

Big?

I think that's subjective. I grew up with the home phones of the 1970s and early 1980s in the house. Wireless phones in the late 80s were innovative because you no longer were tied to the base of the phone.

My 11 Pro Max is not big. If anything, it's still too small. Somewhere between that and the size of the iPad Mini would be about right.

Back pocket by the way. I pull it out when I sit down too. Not interested in sitting on an over $1000 phone.

Man, these iPhones are robust. The amount of times I’ve gone through a drive thru and seen on occasions a larger person with an iPhone in their back skinny jean pocket is testament on its durability for sure. The pounds per square inch of pressure when squatting on that device must be insane.

I like having my phone in my back pocket but I can’t stand having to taking it out every time I want to sit down. I’ll put it in my back pocket for a day or two and then get fed up and switch to the front pocket

Pocket and use a wallet case.

Great case, been using them when available on Android and now my iPhone. Makes the edges of the 13 pro max just melt into your hand and the case itself extremely comfortable. Even my wife with tiny hands loves it.

Haven’t carried a wallet in years. Two ids and two credit cards.

Front pants pocket for me, unless I'm wearing a jacket like poster above mentioned. In cities like mine, I don't think your iPhone would stay a lot of time with you if you carry it in your back pocket :)
