The 16 has always on display listed in the comparison section on Apples Website, is this incorrect?

What are your purchase plans this go round? And why.
If I decide to upgrade from the 13 Pro Max it will be for the 16 Pro.

I‘d like a lighter phone (240g on 13 PM vs 199g on 16 Pro) along with easier one-handed operation.

I would need to go with the Pro since the regular 16 doesn’t have 120htz display.

The 16 doesn't show always on display when you compare it to the 16 pro and 16 pro max. I don't think it does.

it's literally $200 difference guys on a $1000+ phone, even though this year the gap between regular and pro models are especially small, it still makes no sense for anyone trying to save $200 and not get the pro version for something that you will use everyday and miss the pro items however small the list is. If you are this strapped for cash to save $200, then dont spend the $1000 to begin with.

Always gone Pro Max since it’s been an option and I’m happy to continue on. I’m a “big phone” gal.

The non pro is also lighter and has other non boring colors if that’s your thing

Smaller screen sizes too

I'm on the Pixel 8, coming from 14 PM. I love it so far, though the performance is noticeable slower. However, on the Pixel 9 Pro, I'd assume that won't be much of an issue. Software experience is actually very polished, not as much as iOS, but still, very solid. I love the freedom and customization. Even something as simple as downloading an MP3 file to set as a ringtone. Brilliant!

I am on the fence now and have a few days to decide. Currently have an 15 pro in Titanium that I need to give back to my company as I am switching jobs and need a new to buy a new model.

I’ve been rocking the 15 pro without a case for the last few weeks and I really enjoy going caseless and so far the Titanum has held up well from a couple of drops. Feels really good in the hand as well.

I am considering going with the 16 because I like the teal color and I don’t want/need a bigger screen as I am tired of these phones getting bigger and bigger. I am not concerned about the camera quality as I am not a professional photographer.

I am concerned though about going caseless with the Aluminum finish.

Lastly, I have turned off the Always On Display on my iPhone 15 Pro to see if I truly will miss that feature. If I don’t, I might end up with the 16 over the 16 Pro.

It looks like the new iPhone 16 Pro models support 1 nit minimum brightness while the iPhone 15 Pro series don't. How does that help with the battery life or the always on display?

I think I am going 15PM to 16+. I just do not see enough of a reason to spend $1200 for camera functions I don't use and always on display that I don't like and have off now. The ultramarine is just so nice!

Not worried about missing pro motion or a third camera?

300 is a pretty big gap in price especially when getting up to 1200 and tax

200 it’s a toss up between regular and pro

I had planned to down size to the Pro this year from the 15 Pro Max, but I’m going with the 16 Pro Max instead.

Each year I consider downsizing but it’s always the weight distribution for me. The Pro Max even though it’s heavier and bigger it still has better weight distribution (when considering the volume and weight of both devices) so it usually feels lighter overall to me.

Pro over non pro for me because of 120hz and always on display.

I have always bought the pro max versions, however this time I am tempted by the 16 plus as I really don't need the camera features of the pro and I love the pink. Such a dilemma :(
