I will be replacing my 11 Pro Max with the iPhone 14, reasons for doing so is because Pro Max models can last a very long time (performance wise) I don't see a reason to upgrade every year (But I so certainly will like to upgrade) so reasons for going 14 or 14 plus

You say Pro Max phones can last a long time. So you’re going for a non pro phone? I’m confused 😐

I actually have a 13 pro now and I regretted that I didn’t choose the max size last year.

If the 14 plus had promotion, I would definitively chose this phone but I decided to buy the pro max

Nah, the only selling point is lighter weight due to aluminum. Rest is better on the pro.

Just depends on what features you want. If you’re okay with giving up the telephoto lens the regular 14 will still feel like an upgrade from the 11 Pro. But if you want the Dynamic Island or the 48 MP sensor on the main camera, always on promotion display, you have to get a Pro for those features.

Just got a 14 (plain, base) in blue yesterday and like it!
It's lighter than my 12 Pro.

My 14 Plus is still processing so we'll see next month if it was worth the wait.

UPDATE:
Returning my 14 and got 14 Plus coming in today!

So you’ll have two iPhones? I’m confused why you’d buy one of each.

I use 2 iPhones every day at work so I wanted to try out the 14 and found it does not supremely exceed my 12 PM so I am returning the 14 and keeping the 12PM.

My other phone is an Xs Max which is getting replaced by the 14 Plus.

This is a key selling point of the Plus for me. I returned the 13 pro max last year because it was too heavy and cumbersome. I'm looking forward to a more manageable phone of this size.
