Seriously, when I purchased my 12 Pro, I did not expect any camera improvement over my 11 Pro, and there really weren't any. However once I started editing Pro Raw photos, the difference is night and day. We basically get RAW HDR now, which isn't really available in any high end DSLR or Mirrorless. With DSLR or Mirrorless if you shoot HDR and merge in camera, the result is TIFF or JPEG. Not raw. Here we have all the power of HDR, and you can edit it like Raw. I honestly have no clue how Apple is doing this btw. I also have no idea how Dolby Vision HDR is shot at 60 fps 4k either. Because in theory, to be able to shoot HDR, you need two exposures of each frame. So to shoot 60 fps 4k, you need 120 fps 4k, and then merge two frames into one HDR frame.

So far Pro Raw has been a quite big surprise really.
