pro tools vs digital performer

Can some tell me why dp 6 costs more then pt le? from what i saw pt was $175 and dp 6 was $350.

Am I seeing this at a site that has bad prices or does it really cost more? I would think with pt being the industry standard that it would certainly cost more then dp.

Protools HD is the pro industry standard (arguably).

Go check out haw much that costs!!

PT LE is a crippled version on HD.

Given that Logic costs so little I think DP is overpriced.

yea i know pt hd is crazy expensive...gues it makes sense but yea dp is def over priced.

DP is way overpriced. Not worth it imo.

I think DP is underpriced. The features it has for writing to picture is unmatched.
