With the recent law changes in the US and AU, many people have started to think about internet privacy.

A good introduction can be found in the Securty Now podcast (episode 607) - starting at 1:43:40.

You can do a DuckDuckGo search for it, watch or listen on Twit -> http$://twit.tv/shows/security-now/episodes/607?autostart=false or on YouTube -> http$://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Yt1FDoXDYm0

    Stay Safe and Dark :D

I recently signed up for a VPN (lifetime for $33) that I saw on 9to5Toys. I'm going on a trip and thought that having one for all of those unsecured wifi hot spots would be useful, even if the information is not 100% not logged, etc, encrypted data is encrypted data. They support Mac, PC, Android, and iOS.

Anyway, they also support OpenVPN, which appears to still be available for PowerPC using the TunnelBlick app. While deprecated, an old app is an old and and can still work, although I haven't tried it.
