Hello, First thanks for reading and eventually helping me.

I have a mac book pro early 2015 which unfortunately had a drop. Everything worked fine but since the case was damaged and I could not close the screen, decided to buy a body part replacement from china. The replacement went well (excluding the battery that I had to left behind because, since it almost exploded on me). When i powered the mac i had this weird image on screen and could not see why. I had checked and rechecked the flat cables (big on the right and small on the left, near the cables from wifi antena) from the screen.

Thanks in advance and hope i can solve this.

It all worked perfectly before changing.

Humm strange but no, no image and not even the post sound. What could it be?

No drive is not encrypted and even if it was its the same computer, just a different keyboard (due to the one being revited to the chassis).
The external monitor does not work, keeps showing no signal.

The fact that it doesn't chime isn't good.

Look at the lvds connector for signs of damage. Are the pins on the connector discoloured or black?

Disconnect everything from the board except the video cable and try again.

Examine the board for any signs of damage, blown fuses, capacitors, and resistors.

You will have to take the MacBook to a shop that can perform board-level diagnostics to determine the source of the problem.

Hello,

Connected to an external monitor it works nicely. All ok except the screen.

The lvds connector is new and the problem is still there. Any toughts?

The cable it self i have changed. The connector i have not (desolder that small is not for me).
