A long time ago, I jailbroke my iPhone 3G, just to play around with it, and one of the things I did was enable the option that let to see the batterys percentage by touching the battery on the top corner of the screen (maybe apple included this for their own testing purposes?) So a little while later I restored it and everything was normal...except I could still touch to see the battery percent...interesting but I didn't mind

Now, a feature on the 3gs is to enable to see the battery percentage, but it's automaticlly showing on my 3g after the 3.0 update, I thought this was normal at first, but later found out it was only intended for 3gs

So I guess this is pretty cool but I mean if I had to take it in to apple for some reason they might notice...anyone heard of something like this happening?

Yeah, that is one of the settings that carries over from the jailbreak if you restore from backup. I've called apple about my iPod touch saying AT&T (back when the 2G came out and you couldn't jailbreak it) and the guy had no idea what was going on. Hidden icons, carrier changes, and battery percentage carry over from the jailbreak if you restore from backup.
