After reading an earlier post that indicated that Chrome is the fastest browser according to some browser benchmarking app, someone also raised the fast that Chrome forcefully turns on the discrete graphics, adding a lot of heat and killing batter life, and in some cases accelerating both fans to 6000 rpm (normally @ 2000) while playing youtube vids or flash games (experienced by myself).

I want to know if other browsers have the same problem, and if i want to migrate to a different browser, how could i automatically move all bookmarks.
Ive heard that the new Safari 5 is really good, so is opera

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but just wanted to share my observation that this still hasn't changed (using one of the 2011 MBPs with the latest version of Chrome). Chrome is my favorite browser on Windows, but I won't use it on Mac because of this.
