So, here's the deal. I was in Windows (I have a MacBook with Mac OS X and Windows running under Bootcamp), and I had to restart for some updates. When I restarted, I was prompted with a black screen that said "Windows did not start successfully", and I was given about 5 different methods to start windows.

So, I chose "Start Windows Normally". Now, the computer goes into a boot sequence, where it will restart, and that screen just keeps coming up (because of the bootcamp thing). It never gets past it. I tried setting Windows as my primary startup system, and it didn't fix it

    Any ideas?

Try starting it with the option "Config last used" something like that.

    Windows sucks.

when it's booting, press f8 to see the menu again. Try booting in safe mode and then reboot in nomal mode and see if that fixes it.

That has helped me several times.. windows is weird :p

Thing is, when I select a method to boot with, it just restarts and then comes back to the same screen where I get to select a method to boot with.

It's one of the updates that's caused it. I think the only thing you can do is boot off the windows CD and select the repair option
