Problem updating Photoshop Elements 6

I get this error everytime I do an update, I tried to repair the installation and is say completed sucessful but then the updater runs and wants to do this update but tells me it can't find the product. 😡

Any Ideas?
Macbook Air Rev B, OS 10.5.6

frustrating because the icon jumps out of the dock every time I start the program and wants to update but will not after download. I'm in a hopeless loop.

Downloaded the file and manually installed, fixed. Never mind.
