Problem viewing PDFs in Safari

    Every time I try to view a pdf in Safari, it shows up like the screenshot below. I've checked my internet plugins folder and nothing is there.

    Did you check both Internet Plug-Ins folders?

    There's one in /Library and one in ~/Library

    ahhh that did it, thanks. i didn't know there was two. what's the purpose of having two?

    One for the system, then one just for that particular user.

    another note to anyone out there having similar problems or performance issues with pdf files in Safari, you probably will want to follow suit as the built in functionality is much more stable than the adobe plugin.
