When i am using safari on my macbook pro, a lot of the pages that load are really slow in displaying any pictures or images. I have to sit and wait for these images to load as if i am on dial up. Any thoughts?

Also, webpages dont load as fast as i thought they would on this new computer. I dont know if that is related to my problem above. Any help or input would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Try the same page using Shiira and Firefox, too.

If both of them too are equally slow, then you know it's probably something wrong with the web server.

If it loads fine in both of them, then there might be something wrong with your Safari and you can try to empty Cache, delete icons and get rid of the preference file.

If only Shiira shows the same slowdown as Safari and Firefox loads fine, then there might be a webkit compatibility problem. Use Firefox (or Camino) on that page from now... ;)
