Problem w/Logitech USB H330 headphones

    ..or maybe it's the USB H360...whichever. I've attached a pic so you can ID 'em better than my brain can remember the model.

    Anyway,

    Bought 'em 2 weeks ago...they plug in to the USB port. Worked fine & dandy for Skype. Suddenly, 2 days ago, my Mac no longer sees them when they are plugged in. Rebooted, different USB port, etc. etc. all the usual stuff. No joy. Skype doesn't see the them, not recognized under the Sound pref. pane.

    ps: There's not other computer near me that I can try them out on. Otherwise, I'd just do that. Just moved to this town & I don't know anyone at all.

    Is this just crap hardware, or is there a fix I'm not aware of?

    and, yeah, I googled & all that stuff. Thanks for any info.

    If it's only been 2 weeks and you still have the sales receipt, I say take them back to the place of purchase and have them swap them for a new pair. It's much simpler than troubleshooting, and if it's a major chain, it should have a location in your area even if you bought them before the move.
