i have the problem since day 1 (got my iMac a year ago) when i download most types of video clips it adds a .txt extension to the file, for example:

if i download funny.mpg.txt then i have to delete the .txt to make it funny.mpg so i can play it.

is there a way to fix this??

Also most of the WMA clips don't work i can either hear the sound but can't see or i can't see or hear anything.

thx

Install flip4mac and your avi problems will go away. All those files that dont work and have weird extensions are probably viruses. So just snicker at them (you have a mac) and trash them.
