Problem with apostrophes

Please guys, I have a problem with punctuations, specifically apostrophes; can you help me how can I write them?

I don’t think I understand the issue. The apostrophe (‘) is created by pressing the, er, apostrophe key, the one immediately to the left of the return key. If you press Shift-apostrophe you get the quote (“) symbol.

What am I missing here?

Quote marks are shift+2 on that keyboard just like it is on mine. Danish keyboard layout here

I got the Apostrophe later from option key+ the key next to Å to the right. Thank you

Good you got there. What keyboard layout is that? Both å and ä on the same keyboard without modifiers is something I don’t think I’ve seen before.

Are you sure you have the keyboard layout set to Swedish? I have a Swedish keyboard, and the key to the right of Ä gives me an apostrophe without any modifiers, as stated on the key. If I change to the US layout however, I get the same result as you do.What you have to do is change the layout to Swedish in System preferences -> Keyboard -> "Textinmatnig" in Swedish, I don't know what the setting is called in English, and add the "Svensk" layout.
