It worked fine for almost a year with my receiver and now suddenly the surround sound stopped working properly. There's either no sound at all or when there is sound it will suddenly switch to a really low pitched sound after a few minutes before cutting out. Connecting it directly with my TV is fine but it looks like something became defect with the surround sound encoding. Other devices work fine with my receiver.
I'm thinking about bringing it to an Apple store since there is still warranty on it.
