iPhone 6s Plus here running the latest iOS 11.0.3 (or whatever the newest version is). Since installing iOS 11, my phone no longer likes to charge. Here's what I've been able to come up with:

Will charge when it is connected to the charger in the car.
Will charge when connected to computer.
Will charge when connected to an external battery.

Will NOT charge when connected to any wall outlet that I've tried it on. Sometimes the charging icon is there but the actual percentage will not increase. Or will increase by 1 or 2% over long periods of time and then drop 5% instantly upon use. Anyone seen this before or no what the issue might be?

Perhaps there's something with the power adapter and/or the cable you use to plug into the outlets?

I’ve tried 5 Or 6 wall outlets along with 4 Or 5 cables. Even going out and buying a new one.

What about the adapter/converter that plugs into the outlet (unless your outlets have USB connectors in them)?

I’m sorry I’m not understanding. Are you referring to something other than the usb outlet? I’ve tried many but actually one that worked was my friends android wall outlet. I suppose I can pick up one of those and try but I’m more curious as to why that should matter and why the Apple ones don’t work ?

I meant to say there's the outlet, which is the outlet in the wall somewhere essentially, then there's the power adapter/converter that gets plugged into it, and then there's the cable that typically gets plugged into that adapter/converter (which then gets plugged into the device to charge it).

I have seen couple of times it shows the charging symbol then take some time to give the charging sound and it is with the official wall charger came with the phone (6s+). Same thing doesnt happen e.g. with an ipad charger or when connected to my macbook via usb.

Also when charging it sometimes doesnt seem to charge, and once or twice i have recognized the percentage level actually go a down 1% when connected to a charger.

And all started after updating to ios11.

I would also add that I would insure that I was using Apple Original Lightning Cable and Charging Brick to properly troubleshoot this. Basically, your phone charges on every USB device but not on the charging brick. It would appear the charging brick is the problem.
