    Hey,
I'm trying to connect my Macbook Pro C2D to a VGA display via the adapter. So far, it seems as though its been detected as I can drag windows off of the LCD screen as well as move my mouse way off the LCD screen. However, the VGA screen is not showing any image. I have been sure to adjust the video output settings to a frequency that is allowed by the external monitor, but still nothing. I have also attempted switching from extended desktop to mirror mode and back to no avail. The VGA monitor does, however, do to sleep when plugged into the mac rather that give its "Check Connection" message that it gives when the mac is sleeping or when disconnected.
Thanks for any help you can give.
