Problem with customization

I installed tap to unlock and fire battery theme the battery theme dont work and the tap to unlock takes away the writing "slide to unlock" how do I get any of these customizations to work? Any help would be great

I don't believe you can change the "tap to unlock" text.

Have you activated "Fire Battery Theme" in WinterBoard and resprung yet?
