problem with cydia?

cydia suddenly started acting up on me. it constantly has the black bar on top saying downloading packages and the homescreen doesnt load. if i search and try to install something, it'll say running for a couple of minutes then it says "POSIX: Operation timed out"
i know this isn't an internet issue as all my other apps work. even if i switch to 3g it doesnt work. i've tried rebooting and respringing but nothing seems to work. any advice?

I'm having the same issue as the OP too. I can navigate to other screens (Changes, Search, etc), but the home screen doesn't load and I keep getting the POSIX error.

Eh...I guess it's just down right now (to some extent). I'll give it some time to come back up.

Saurik said on twitter there was a server problem earlier and that he had his headphones plugged in so he didn t hear the mails and calls from people saying that cydia was down or having loading probs
