Problem With Deleting Pages File

Hi All,

I am trying to delete a pages file on my mac but it just doesn't delete. I do not have the pages app on my mac, these files came over on iCloud from my iPad (which I have now sold). Can somebody please help with this as I have quite a few files that I want to delete but just can't!

The warning message when I go to delete says: "(File) cannot be converted. Please install a newer version of iWork"

Have you tried using the iCloud pane in System Preferences to delete your Pages Docs from the cloud? That should prevent them from moving back on to your Mac.
