All of a sudden I am having trouble downloading podcasts directly onto my iphone. I have never had this problem before. It may have started when I updated to the most recent update.

For example, I have Stuff You should Know podcasts (this is also happening with other podcasts as well), and when I want to "add more," itunes shows the podcasts but then usually freezes up, and will not let me press on any particular podcasts to download. Even when I close out and try again, it does not work. However, when I use my ipad to download them directly, everything works fine.

Is anyone else having this problem? is there a way for podcasts that are downloaded to ipad to go directly onto my iphone?

Do I need to do a reset?? It seems like an itunes problem, no?.. help!!

I gave up on using iTunes for my podcasts, and switched over to iCatcher. It allows you to get your podcasts without syncing to iTunes, so it is good if you are on the road. It also allows streaming of episodes, variable speed play, etc. It will also sync between devices using iCloud and is a Universal app.

Well worth the $1.99 on the App store IMO
