hello everyone I have the blackbook and using the microsoft office 2008; recently after downloading the update a problem occurred when downloading powerpoint presentations from safari web browser, when downloading a .ppt file it changes to .ppt.pps without telling me or something, it it a bit weird, it happened recently!!!
and in firefox its all normal, this happened recently!!!
thank you

this is happening to me too. i can still open the powerpoint file, but it opens in full screen mode. when i try to exit full screen mode, it exits from the entire file.

have you tried renameing it and removing .pps and when the popup comes up click "Use .ppt"

thought about doing that, but it doesn't solve the problem for all future powerpoint files downloaded. i don't want to have to change the extension on every file

I did rename the file and it worked, but I dont want to do that for all future files, but isn't it weird why from firefox it is normal but safari its not!!!?
