Hi,

I'm having a weird problem with Logic 8 that I can not figure out.

I have 1 midi track which I recorded and really like (don't want to RE-record it).

For some reason about 28 measures in, the level on that track drops to a near whisper. I'm using an apple midi sample (yamaha piano Club) and there is no automation on the track. The mixer does not budge.

Every time I open logic, the track is loud again. Once I play it to that certain point, it drops and will not go back up again until I restart the program.

Any ideas?

Thank you for your help!

Greig

Try copying the midi data onto a new identical track. Also use the list editor to check there is no stray controller data :)apple:2)

Fixed

Wow. That was it. Somehow my midi controller transmitted a volume drop.

Thanks so much for the help! I don't know how long that would have taken me on my own.
