problem with EOS rebel connection to Mac

    I have a MacBook Pro and a Canon EOS digital Rebel. Never had any problems connecting the two until tonight. Image browser says NO CAMERA FOUND. I have changed USB cables, restarted my computer all to no avail. Any suggestions, please.

    Stupid obvious question, but is the camera on? And is the battery well charged?

    Yup. Made sure battery was completely charged.

    1) Test your usb port with something else (flash drive, etc) to make sure it's working correctly.

    2) Take the battery out of your rebel and let it sit for a couple of hours. Then try again.
