Problem with finder

This isn't specifically to do with the macbook, but I was messing around with finder and im not sure what i've done, 1st, how do i remove the downloads folder from the top bar? and secondly, how do I get my sidebar? I can't find an option for this anywhere, thanks

Hold the Command key and drag it off.

and secondly, how do I get my sidebar? I can't find an option for this anywhere, thanks

Finder > View > Show/Hide Sidebar (or press Option-Command-S)
