Hi, I have an imac running osx. It has just come out of it's warranty, and surprise surprise it's gone wrong (doesn't that always happen)

When I open garageband, and click on 'open an existing project', instead of bringing up garageband projects, it brings up a list of word documents, so there is no way to get into songs that I have been working on

Does anyone have any ideas how this can be solved?

Thanks

The open dialog doesn't - by chance - just default to a folder that contains only Word documents? Can you change it there?
What happens if you double-click on a GarageBand project in the Finder?
