Hey, lately, I've been having a lot of problems with Google's image search... I'll search for an image, click the image, then click it again to see the full size view of it, and it'll show for about a second and then disappear and it will say "The requested URL /error was not found on this server." It doesn't do this with every picture I try to view at full size; it happens about 55% of the time. Any ideas on what's going on? Thanks

A lot of times, Google will still have an image cached even though it's been removed from the original site. So, you find an image in Google... you click to view it... and then THAT site says "404, it's gone!"

Or, the site you're trying to view the image on doesn't allow hotlinking or direct image access. (This sounds like the problem you're running into.) Are a lot of the images you're trying to view full-size located on the same site?

Can you give an example of the query you're using so we can see if that's the case?

No, none of the images are related at all. It hasn't just been today either; it's been all week. Also, the 404 message is from Google and I know for certain that the image is still there because I see the image load. Once it's finished loading, it goes to the Google 404 error message.

Usually i only got that problem with expired eBay auction pictures, but I too got this problem last night.

Hopefully it'll be resolved soon

I've had this problem for the last couple of days too (and I promise no pr0n!)

A couple of times refreshing the page has made the image reappear, but this didn't work every time.
