I am trying to do some work research using Google, and I cannot seem to get the SafeSearch function to stop filtering the search results. I know that if you click on it on the Google Preferences page, I can technically change the filtering from the default (Moderate filtering) to off. The problem is, no matter how many times I switch this while using Safari, I cannot get it to take! ON Firefox, Google registers the change and allows me to search without any sort of filter. Safari does not seem to be letting me. Has anyone else experienced this? Any fixes to recommend - other than just using FF to do my work??

Have you got Private Browsing turned on? That might stop your choice being saved - I know Facebook doesn't always work properly when it's turned on.
