I noticed that when I click the down volume button on the side that is closer to the back, it doesnt register. In fact it doesnt even click. When I put pressure on the side that is closer to the screen it both registers and makes the clicking sound. I noticed the same for the volume up button but it is less pronounced. Its a bit annoying because when I apply even pressure on the button, although it registers, I dont quite get that crisp clicking sound. I'm more worried over the longer term, wondering if it will degrade further. I have had home button issues with my previous iphones. After a while, they dont always register pressure.
Anyways, anyone else having similar problems, do your volume buttons work as expected on the i5 even when you apply uneven pressure (such as the side of the button?).

I have the same problem with my black iPhone.
In the beginning it didn't register at all but now it works 75% of the time :p

I contacted 3 about it. Because I bought it there and they wanted in for service. Not sure I want to do that and miss it for 3 weeks.
