    I tried to 'update' 11 books earlier in the iBooks app. I've had issues updating certain books in the past, so I wasn't surprised that I had an error again (actually 11 of them), but for some reason, I checked the logs, and was curious at what was going on. There were notes about not being able to move files, etc...

    So I retried the failed updates, and it looks like iBooks did the updates, until I look in the logs again, and find conflicting information. Given that I can't right click a book and 'Get Info', I thought that maybe it was an error because I have two Apple ID's. But I'm not sure that is even close to the issue...

    Here is the log file, with any personal information hopefully scrubbed out of it, and maybe someone here can shed some light on what is going on 'under the hood' of iBooks...

    Hopefully iBooks isn't toasted like my iTunes was a few months ago. I had to blow away the entire library, and recreate it to try to fix a problem with Podcast downloads...

    The books aren't in the list anymore to be updated, but I guess I'm not at all sure that they did in deed update...

    Thanks to anyone that can shed some light on this...

    ===== edit

    Oh, interesting... They all say 'Waiting', and haven't downloaded yet.

    Odd. When I click on 'Details', it shows the book in the iBooks store, but nothing else about the book, or the transaction. When I click on 'DOWNLOAD', nothing happens. They are just sitting in the download list saying 'Waiting'.

    Bizarre...

    This is Yosemite (10.10.4), and iBooks version 1.2 (825).

    AND apparently none of the other books that were 'updated' were actually updated, as I closed iBooks, and opened it, and it said that those books needed to be updated again.

    This has gone way past funny...
