iPhone 12 Pro Max Problem with iCloud not automatically backing up on my iPhone 12 Pro max

I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this problem. My iPhone will not back up automatically but my other devices will. I called apple and they said to change the cellular from 5G to lte because the phone might not recognize the WiFi if it’s on 5G.

Has it been solved doing by what apple said? If no, maybe you can backup iPhone to iCloud Manually instead of Automatically like below:
- Go to Settings on your iPhone
- For iPhone with iOS 10.2 or latter, sign in with Apple ID > iCloud > iCloud Backup > Back Up Now;
For iPhone with iOS 10.1 or earlier, tap iCloud > Backup > Back Up Now.
If you still have the same problem, try to backup your iPhone to the computer via using iPhone data backup software.

If you've got a Mac with a recent OS, just back up the iPhone to the Mac. It's way faster to back up and restore from your computer. I used to back up to iCloud years ago - not any more

Also note: when you back up to your Mac it backs up passwords ect. and components such as Apple Fitnesss and Health....iCloud backup doesn't do this...Apple should make users more aware of these differences.

Not sure if you have resolved your issue, but I recommend going into iCloud on your phone, deleting the saved backup of any phone or phones—including the one in question and then reenable iCloud back up and manually backup the phone(s). It should rid any hang ups or bugs that are currently preventing automatic backups.

iCloud is garbage, until apple fix contacts name randomly disappearing I’ll be sticking with my mac for backups.

You’d think by now they would of fixed it, been happening since iCloud got released. 🙄

Don’t have pics, search google for iCloud missing contacts name, been happening for years.
