I am having an issue with my iPhone 6 since I got it like 15 days ago until now. many times when I am using an app like whatsapp or FB or any other app even the built in apps like settings or phone the app crushes or sometimes it freeze and doesn't respond at all until I lock the phone and unlock it again and even the home button doesn't work in that case except the lock button. so what's wrong???? I believe it's an IOS issue even though I have IOS 8.02 but how can I solve it?

Have you tried a hard reset?
How did you initially setup your phone?

I do not have this problem on my 6. I recommend restarting. If that doesn't fix it, perform a restore. If that doesn't fix it, take it in to Apple.

This is happening to both my iPhone 6 and iPad Air since I upgraded to iOS 8.

I did a straight upgrade on my iPad and restored my new iPhone from a 5S backup.

I have rebooted a number of times and the only thing to unfreeze them is a off and on process.

I was considering a restore as new on my iPhone and reload only the apps that I want/use the most. I may have a few apps that have not been used in a long time. One was just updated today and that is how I know there may be some old apps still on my phone.

Since 8.02 when I try to change anything in an app called iSafeBox the app will freeze. The app will not respond until I reboot my iPhone 6.

I restored it by iTuens due to the whatsapp restoring issue from iCloud

but now I prefer not to rest it not to lose any data because I have been using it for around 3 weeks and not everything can be fully backed up

so is there any other solution out there?
