So, yesterday I decided to update my iPod to the newest update ( 3.1.1 ) . Usually, if u double click on the home button the song that is currently playing will pop up in a smallish Blue box . This box will also pop up if u aren't listening anything too . Well after I got the update , I wasn't listening to anything so I double clicked my home button and it just brought me to my main screen when it wasn't supposed to >< I restarted my iPod but it still didn't work. Is the because of the update or is my iPod broken ?? This feauture was perfectly fine until after I got the update. Can someone help me ? It takes a while to go back to ur main screen, go to music, and then play a song .

( && I still had iTunes 8 before and after I downloaded the update)

    Go into:

    Settings>General>Home

Sadly the home button double click only brings up the ipod controls in 3.1.1 if music is playing now.

Did you look to see what is selected, and are stating that "iPod" is selected, or did you not bother looking and are just assuming it is?
