I haven't seen this on here yet so here goes: I have a 1st gen ipod touch and after the recent 3.0 upgrade, I have had problems with my itunes account when I purchase apps in the app store or in the wifi music store using my ipod touch. My log in and password are both correct and when I purchase apps I input my password and it says "password is incorrect." This is wrong cause I input my password on my laptop using the itunes program and everything is fine. It then takes me to this page that asks to reset my password and it says "username not found" I have been using the same account for years purchasing apps ever since I bought my ipod touch. And now with the 3.0 update, I can't seem to purchase anything on my ipod. Any ideas on what should I do? I emailed Apple about it, they sent me a link on their help page but it was not a successful permanent fix. In a nut shell, it said for me to sign off my account on my laptop using itunes, then re-sign on, then sync my ipod and it should be fine. Well, it was fine, then the moment I unplug my ipod and try to purchase an app it gives me the "wrong password" error again.
