I have itunes 6.0.4 and an Ipod. The Ipod has plenty of space on it. There have been 60 songs added to the itunes library and when I plug in my ipod it asks me if I want to sync so I say yes, it says syncing and it's done however it doesn't transfer the new songs. The Ipod has been put into manual mode so that when I plug it into another computer the songs won't be erased, would that have something to do with why the ipod won't add the songs? If so why is it prompting me to sync when I plug it in?

If it's in manual mode then you'll have to manually drag the tracks from iTunes across to the iPod. Is iTunes asking you if you want to sync with this library or merely be associated with this library? 🙂

Well, when the Ipod is in manual mode it's in disk mode correct?

If the ipod is set to manual, would itunes prompt you to sync it when you plug it in? Or would it only appear in the left hand menu?

It will just appear in the sidebar, ready for you to delete and add directly from/to it.
