So, I have been using mail for a while, and for the most part it works pretty well. But, sometimes when I receive mail, I get mail that has a REALLY tiny text size. I have to bump it up for sure. Why is this, is there some formatting that is killing the text size?
this is coming from users with an exchange account.

I'm guessing that the cause is something on their end when they send you emails. There's not much you can do, other than inform them that this is happening and compensate for it on your end, like you've been doing.

One possible cause is that they're sending you HTML email with the font size set to "extremely small" or something like that.

i'll check

i'll check that out, I don't have the problem with the mails that I get on the pc, in outlook or OE.

This from another thread on this forum (works for me!):

I found an easy fix for this on the apple forums.

Put this in the Terminal and restart mail.

defaults write com.apple.mail MinimumHTMLFontSize 13
