Problem with mail app on 2.2 firmware

Every time I update my mail on a Gmail acoount it will download my mail but crach after it does. And its only for my inbox. I can download everything else such as trash, drafts, and starred but every time I download my inbox it crashes. Does anyone else have this problem?

By any chance, are you jailbroken with intelliscreen installed? If so, disable taskbar notifications in intelliscreen.
