So Its been about 6 month since I bought my first mac, and Ive always had a problem with the mail app. Well I don't know if you could consider it a problem. Everytime I delete my emails on one of my macs, it doesn't delete the emails on the other computer and my phone. Same with my phone, if I delete an email, it will still be there on my other computers.

I know it doesn't really seem like a big problem, but it is soo annoying to have delete a much of email 4 times (4 devices)

I already called the applecare people (few weeks ago) and they made me try a lot of things, but they never solved the problem.

So I was wondering if any of you guys had any idea to stop this???

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

It sounds like you have all your email configured as pop-mail. Then what you have is logical. The direction you would have to look at is to configure each email client (app/software) to be set up using IMAP mail. To do this, you have to find the IMAP settings of your email provider and use that.

Before you do this, you must make sure the provider has enough space to keep all of your email since nothing is deleted from the server unless you delete something.

Hotmail, Google, Yahoo (paid option I believe) all have an IMAP mail option. Or exchange license so you can sync the email across devices. If your email provider doesn't have enough space, you can setup Hotmail, gMail or Yahoo to fetch the email from your normal account and you will still have the benefits of IMAP/exchange.
